Our Story

The Perfect Cadence was born from a moment of profound love and sudden loss. In 2014, while expecting our daughter, Cadence Sabrina, we were overwhelmed by a "village" of friends and family who showered us with support. When we lost Cadence just before her arrival, that same community became our lifeline.

We realized that while Cadence never got to use her gifts, her legacy could be the village for others. Today, we turn our loss into love by providing celebrations and essential resources for families who lack a support system.

Whether we are hosting a baby shower for an expectant parent or walking alongside someone navigating the brave journey of pregnancy after loss, our mission is simple: to ensure every baby is celebrated and no parent walks this path alone. Because every family deserves a village.

Also, if you have experienced a loss after your shower as we did and want to donate your gifts to be shared with other families in need, please let us know and we are happy to collect and distribute your gifts to a family that will put them to good use.  Please note that at this time we can only collect from addresses in the Chicago area.
